Cryptolaemus montrouzieri

Cryptolaemus montrouzieri is a predator both as larvae and adult. One Cryptolaemus from small larvae till pupae can eat up to 300 mealybugs. The adult Cryptolaemus is around 4 mm long, with head and frontpart in orange. The rest of the body is black/brown. The adult femalebug will deposit her eggs single in the colonies of mealybugs. The larvae hatch from the egg in 8 days, and will within 2 weeks (depending of temperature) develop till a length of around 13 mm. The larvae can be mistaken by a mealybug, but moves faster, and is always dark underneath..

How to use
Cryptolaemus control mealybugs only if temperatures are more than 19 degrees Celsius in average. Humidity must bee more than 60 % RH. Daily hour of light not less than 12 hours. The larvae or the adult cryptolaemus is released in the colonies of mealybugs: 2 Cryptolaemus per m2, in hotspots 10 per m2.

To be stored few days in room temperature, 15-20 degree celcius, away from direct sunlight.
